Pálinka Museum, Visegrád
The exhibition present the history of prohibited pálinka cooking from the Hungarian Soviet Republic (1919) up until 2010. Visitors can also learn about the history of the drink itself starting way back from the Etruscans, then see what are the usual and the rare ingredients of pálinka. There is also a collection of old pálinka bottle labels from the 1970's and 1980's.
In the interactive part of the museum, visitors can design their own pálinka label which they can then print and put on a bottle of pálinka that can be bought in the museum. In one of the rooms, there is an illegal pálinka cooking scene that can be brought alive with a push of a button.
